Dr. Cyndi Robinson, a proud product of Richmond Public Schools and a first-generation college graduate, is deeply passionate about the transformative power of public education.
Dr. Robinson earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Teaching from the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!), and later earned her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University (Go Colonials!). Her 20-year career in public education began as a middle and high school English teacher, eventually leading to roles as a National Board Certified Teacher, a clinical residency coach for the Richmond Teacher Residency program, an Educational Technology Integrator or Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ETI/ITRT), and the Manager of Instructional Innovation & Design for RPS. Most recently, she served as the Founding Principal of the Richmond Virtual Academy (RVA), building a thriving, fully accredited PreK-12 virtual school community from the ground up.
Throughout her leadership journey, Dr. Robinson’s core philosophy has remained unwavering: she is a fierce advocate for a safe, loving, and supportive school culture. She firmly believes that when students, staff, and families feel secure, seen, and genuinely cared for, the entire school community thrives. Dr. Robinson looks forward to working hand-in-hand with Boushall's staff, students, and community to ensure every scholar reaches their highest potential.
